A 5cm diameter steel ball bearing and stand, purportedly from the Enola Gay Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, the circular stand incised 'Enola Gay', total height 5.3cm. Provenance: acquired by the vendor's father in Toronto, Canada, approximately 70 years ago. Note: the Enola Gay became the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb in warfare, destroying approximately three-quarters of the city of Hiroshima on 6th August 1945.
