An early 19th century Indian colonial silver mustard of squat baluster form, the hinged lid with scallop shell thumbpiece and knop finial, flanked by a foliate capped scroll handle, on a circular reeded foot, height 8.5cm, together with a matching pepper caster, the front engraved 'Pepper', height 7.2cm, both Calcutta by Twentyman & Co, total weight 351.7g.
