An Omega Seamaster Automatic 18ct gold cased gentleman's wristwatch, circa 1961, the signed jewelled 552 caliber movement numbered '18812128', the signed champagne tinted circular dial with gilt baton hour markers, the signed case interior detailed '18K 0,750' above '14765-5C 61', case diameter 3.4cm, on a brown leather strap, together with original signed gilt dial, set with three diamonds to each quarter baton (replaced in 1982 with the current dial). Provenance: this watch was purportedly given as a gift by the Emir of Bahrain to Sir Miles Thomas (1897-1980), former chairman of BOAC and Monsanto Chemical Ltd, who also later sat on the board of Britannia Airways.
