A pre-Columbian Olmec style carved green hardstone spoon, possibly 900-450 BC, one side carved with a mask, thought to be used in sacrificial ceremonies, length 15.8cm, together with a pre-Columbian Olmec style carved green hardstone ear perforator, possibly 900-450 BC, the finial modelled with seated bird, bearing collector's label to reverse, length 12cm. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector.
