A Chinese doucai and anhua decorated porcelain saucer dish, mark of Chenghua but Qing dynasty, probably Yongzheng period, finely potted and painted to the centre in the Ming style with green trefoil bloom with iron red stamens and surround of slender leafy stems, within underglaze blue double line borders framing two dragon and phoenix pairs in anhua technique to sides, the exterior underside with a similar frieze of trefoil blooms and leaves, all between bands of classic scroll and overlapping petals with triple stamens, underglaze blue apocryphal six-character mark of Chenghua within double ring to base, diameter 20.4cm (repaired sections of rim, minor rim chips and star hairline crack to base).
