An 18th century Continental flintlock ball-butt pistol with part-octagonal barrel, barrel length 17.5cm, brass inset foliate decorated panels, cut steel shaped and worked mechanical hammer, full-stocked with brass openwork and engraved inlaid decoration, steel stirrup and trigger guard and wooden ramrod.
