Nichols and Son, 1830. 2 vols., 8vo (198 x 113mm.) Engraved portrait frontispiece. (Browning, minor spotting to endpapers, a newspaper obituary of the author mounted to the second blank of volume 1 with hand-written notes, and another newspaper clipping to rear endpaper of volume 2.) Mid-20th century tree calf bound by Mansell, two burgundy morocco lettering pieces to the spines, gilt borders and corner-pieces, gilt turn-ins (light rubbing) (2).
