PRIVATE PRESS. - Blair HUGHES-STANTON and Ida GRAVES. Epithalamion. Colchester, Higham: The Gemini Press, 1934. Limited edition, this being number 105 of 330 copies signed by the author and illustrator, 4to (339 x 204mm.) 23 wood-engraved illustrations by Hughes-Stanton, one for each stanza, a 4pp. advertisement loosely inserted, signed to the colophon at rear. (Some spotting.) Original green paper-covered boards, paper label mounted to spine (some loss to the label, mark to lower cover, faint marks to upper cover). Note: the first of two publications from the Gemini Press. The poem is a celebration of the relationship between Ida Graves and Blair Hughes-Stanton. The work was re-issued in 1980 by the Basilisk Press, using sheets from unsold copies of this earlier edition.
