An Assyrian carved alabaster plaque, possibly 900-600 BC, finely carved in low relief with two scribes with palm leaves in the background, bearing collector's labels to reverse, 18cm x 15cm. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector (thin layer of glue on reverse).
