A George IV silver three-piece tea set, each piece of squat circular form with gadrooned rims, flanked by foliate capped scroll handles, raised on cast foliate feet, comprising teapot, milk jug and two-handled sugar bowl, London 1825 by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I, weight 1346g, length of teapot 27cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
