A large pair of Italian maiolica twin-handled snake vases, late 19th/20th century, the ovoid bodies painted with continuous scenes of classical figures, raised on domed feet, the flared rims flanked by bifurcated snake handles with mask terminals, unmarked, height 53cm (some faults and restoration).
