A Samuel Alcock & Co Attic style two-handled vase, mid-19th century, the pink ground ovoid body decorated in black and gilt with classical figures in a titled scene, 'Visitors of public games fulfilling their vows in the Temple of Venus', flanked by gilt loop handles, black printed marks to base with puce painted No. 3/9099, height 21.5cm, together with five similar Hill Pottery single-handled ewers and a large pale blue ground two-handled vase, decorated after the antique, height 37.5cm (some faults and restoration).
