An Adams' Patent 1851 38-bore self-cocking percussion revolver with sighted octagonal barrel, barrel length 17cm, detailed 'Wm & Jno Rigby, Dublin', line and foliate-engraved frame, detailed 'Adams' Patent No. 30,379.B', chequered walnut grip and engraved steel butt cap with hinged percussion cap trap, together with its original fitted green baize-lined oak case with various contents, including shot moulds, tools, percussion cap tins and powder flask, the lid interior with part-label for Deane Adams & Deane, Gun Makers, London Bridge.
