A fine early 19th century gold and enamelled aide-mémoire with watch, probably Swiss, the tapered shaped rectangular case enamelled to one side with a shoreside fishing scene with sailing ship and distant mountains, the other side with a pastoral scene with cows by the water's edge, a shepherdess and distant mountains, the lower part opening to reveal a watch compartment with an unsigned cylinder movement, the varicoloured enamelled dial with black Arabic numerals below two doves, the case opening to reveal the aide-mémoire pad, pencil, watch key and tiny spoon, length 8cm (small dent with minor enamel loss).
