A late 19th century French Classical Revival gilt metal and mother-of-pearl oval musical desk stand, the central harp flanked by two quill holders cast as mythological dolphins, each over a cut glass inkwell and a pounce pot, all above a carved mother-of-pearl shell and foliate cast ormolu base enclosing a musical movement, on four lion paw feet, height 23cm, width 20cm, depth 17cm (musical movement defective).
