A Chinese faux bois porcelain brushpot, Qing dynasty, the cylindrical body painted en grisaille with a dragon and flaming pearl divided by three lines of black text and a red seal, on a pale brown ground, between borders of simulated wood grain, repeated to interior, height 10.3cm (hairlines).
