A Chinese famille rose porcelain brush washer/water coupe, Daoguang mark and possibly of the period, of shallow square form, the exterior painted with flowers on scrolling leafy tendrils, the circular aperture with iron red and gilt keyfret rim, flanked by pairs of blue glazed moulded mask handles, painted with blue glazed feet to each base corner, red enamelled seal mark to base, width 12.5cm, height 4.5cm (minor wear).
