A pair of Japanese Kutani porcelain bottle vases, Meiji period, each compressed globular body painted and gilt with pheasant in a continuous landscape, beneath a tapered narrow neck filled with simulated brocade, height 30.5cm, together with a Satsuma earthenware vase, Meiji period, painted and gilt with figural and floral panels, height 30cm.
