A late Victorian Anglo-Moorish 'Cairene' walnut framed armchair by Liberty & Co, the back inset with finely turned panels of mashrabiya above a removable padded seat, height 112cm, width 60.5cm, depth 56cm. Note: a very similar chair is illustrated in 'Liberty's Furniture 1875-1915' by Daryl Bennett.
