An Edwardian silver vesta case of rounded rectangular form with hinged lid, the front engraved with the Star of the Order of the Thistle including motto 'Nemo Me Impune Lacessit' (No-one provokes me with impunity) beside Artists Rifles crest and inscription '2nd Jany 1911 to 11th Feby 1911', Birmingham 1909 by Horace Woodward & Co Ltd, weight 52.2g, length 7cm.
