A Linthorpe pottery vase, circa 1880, designed by Christopher Dresser, the green glazed ribbed cylindrical body applied with stems of flowers and foliage, impressed and incised marks to base with facsimile signature, height 22.5cm (restored), together with a Linthorpe Dresser bowl of pierced circular shape, decorated with orchid flowers and foliage, diameter 15cm, and a Linthorpe Dresser dish, relief decorated with peaches, length 13cm. Note: the bowl with orchids is illustrated by Widar Halén in 'Christopher Dresser', pl. 111.
