A Ridgway porcelain pierced fruit basket, circa 1830, pattern No. 2168, painted with a landscape scene of ruins beneath the pierced rim, printed in puce with trellis panels outlined with gilt scrollwork, unmarked, length 29cm, together with two matching plates, a pair of puce printed dishes with shell handles, probably Minton, length 24.8cm, a Davenport teacup and saucer and two plates, each with green printed floral decoration, pattern No. 1055, and a Ridgway plate. Note: one of the puce printed plates is illustrated by Geoffrey Godden in 'The Illustrated Guide to Ridgway Porcelain', pl. 72.
