LOT 1135
A Regency mahogany bracket timepiece with brass single fusee movement, the painted circular convex dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'W. Burch Maidstone', the brass inlaid case with pineapple finial above brass edged recessed panels to front, flanked by a pair of gilt brass cornucopia and loose ring handles above pierced fret panels, on a plinth base and brass ball feet, height 50cm, with pendulum and winding key. Note: William Burch is a recorded clockmaker working in Maidstone, Kent, between 1795 and 1813.
