A late 19th century French gilt metal mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular porcelain dial painted with a cherub and basket framed by black Roman hour numerals, the case cast with foliate sprays and inset with a Sèvres style porcelain panel, decorated with a courting couple beneath an urn finial, height 38cm, with pendulum and winding key.
