Two groups of medals to members of the How family, one group comprising MBE, civil issue, with original Royal Mint case and instructions for wearing card, 1914-18 British War Medal and 1914-19 Victory Medal to '2.Lieut.H.How' and the three corresponding dress miniature medals, mounted on a bar, the other group comprising 1939-45 Star, Burma Star, 1939-45 Defence Medal, War Medal with MiD spray and Efficiency Medal, George VI issue, with Territorial suspension to 'Lt P.G.How. R.E.', mounted on a bar as worn, with Army Council forwarding slip, the corresponding five dress miniature medals, spare ribbons and two MiD sprays, together with three enamelled Red Cross awards relating to Miss Nellie E. Armstrong and an enamelled badge, detailed 'Burlington's School 1699'.
