LOT 1833
A late 18th/early 19th century French double-barrelled flintlock pistol with side-by-side barrels, barrel length 21.5cm, detailed with script 'Canon Cordu' to the central rib, surrounded by foliate decoration and picked out in gold (overall wear), with borderline engraved lockplates, indistinctly marked 'Fructus Carpantros', full-stocked with carved decoration, shaped steel trigger guard and butt cap and vacant silver metal cartouche depicting a trophy of arms (lockplates and other fittings detached, overall losses and damage, rusting).
