A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Amitayus Buddha, mark of Xuande but probably Qing dynasty, modelled seated in dhayanasana with hands held in dharmachakra mudra, wearing elaborate headdress and bead jewellery, on a double lotus throne, incised six-character mark to upper surface of lotus throne, height 18.3cm. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector.
