An impressive Victorian ebonized and brass mounted bracket clock with eight day triple fusee movement chiming quarters on eight gongs and striking hours on a larger gong, the brass arched dial with chime/silent indicator, pendulum regulation and chime selection subsidiary dials to arch above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, the matt centre applied with a silvered plaque, inscribed 'Aronsberg & Co Liverpool', the ebonized case with balustrade gallery surmount above an inset classical frieze flanked by four pineapple finials, the sides with a pair of foliate handles and pierced and cast fret panels, on a rectangular plinth base with cast foliate and paw feet, height 62cm, with pendulum, case key and winding key (minor faults).
