LOT 1250
A mid-18th century brass mounted and ebonized diminutive bracket clock with eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the backplate with foliate engraved decoration, the 5-inch brass breakarch dial with silvered strike/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, framing a matt centre with mock pendulum aperture, date aperture and applied silvered plaque, inscribed 'Perigal London', the case with bell top, brass carrying handle and four urn finials above glazed front and back doors, glazed side panels and moulded plinth base on brass bracket feet, height 38cm, with pendulum and winding key (some alterations).
