A mid-19th century French ormolu mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped 'Hry Marc Paris', the enamelled dial similarly signed, the case surmounted with a classical maiden and putto, on a foliate, rococo and scroll moulded base, height 35.7cm, with pendulum.
