POTTER, Beatrix. The Tailor of Gloucester. London: Frederick Warne and Co., 1903. First edition, second printing, 16mo (138 x 96mm.) Half-title, coloured frontispiece, 26 plates by Beatrix Potter. (Toning, marginal tear to p.52, small stamp verso front-free endpaper.) Original plum-coloured boards with mounted illustration to upper cover (inner hinge cracked, but holding, spine seams splitting). [Linder, p.423]. - And a further five volumes (including a reprint of John Ross' 'Narrative of a Second Voyage in Search of a North-West Passage', [n.d. circa 1836], 8vo) (6).
