London: Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown, & Green, 1827. 4to (319 x 246mm.) 22 hand-coloured lithographed plates, errata leaf. (Toning, marginal spotting to several leaves, marginal damp-staining B1-B4, hinges strengthened.) Near contemporary green blind-stamped cloth, gilt mollusc to covers (rubbing to spine ends). Provenance: 'L.J.W.' (inscribed to title-page); A. King Bullmare (name inscribed to title-page); B.S. Morton, marine ecologist (bookplate to front pastedown).
