Portrait frontispiece with tissue-guard, 27 wood-engraved illustrations by George Cruikshank, 1p. publisher's advertisements to rear, original cloth covers bound to rear. (Mild toning, front and rear blanks replaced.) 20th century polished calf by Rivière & Son, triple gilt ruled to covers, red and brown morocco lettering pieces to the second and third compartments of the spine, floral and volute tooling to the rest, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (endpapers replaced).
