A Japanese Satsuma earthenware circular box and cover by Izumiyama, Meiji period, the top painted and gilt with waterfall, trees and pavilions in a mountainous landscape, the sides with panels of irises and wisteria, on gilt tripod feet, the interior with butterflies, black and gilt signature to base, height 6.8cm, diameter 12.5cm (repaired rim of cover, repaired foot and minor chips), together with a Japanese cloisonné vase, Meiji period, of shouldered tapering form, decorated with a goose flying above flowers on a midnight blue ground, unmarked, height 18.5cm (chip to shoulder and minor bruise), and a Japanese cloisonné small circular dish, Meiji period, decorated with butterflies and lappet border, diameter 15.2cm.
