A rare Steiff mohair centre-seam humpback growler teddy bear, circa 1910, with underscore button in left ear, the swivel head with boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle and brown stitched nose, the body with elongated limbs, three later covered pads and remnant claw stitching, height 62cm (24½ inches) (bald patches, nose damaged and repaired, weakness to upper arms, repair to left arm above the pad, repairs to legs above the pads, growler inoperative).
