A Chinese Transitional blue and white porcelain jar, mid-17th century, the barrel form body painted with two birds flying above and perched in bamboo beside butterflies flying about peonies, rocks and vapours, unmarked, height 27.5cm (drilled hole and star crack to base), together with a carved hardwood stand.
