An early 20th century Russian Fabergé silver kovsh, circa 1908-26, 84 zolotnik, the boat shaped body with cast ropetwist rim, the interior set with a circular cabochon amethyst, the flat tab handle cast and pierced with a pair of confronting mythical birds, centred with a smaller oval cabochon amethyst, Cyrillic maker's mark, Imperial warrant and Kokoshnik mark below handle, weight 90.8g, length 9.7cm, height 5.4cm.
