A Meissen two-handled écuelle and cover, mid-18th century, the circular body painted with figural scenes of peasants at work and rest, flanked by scroll handles with relief foliate terminals, the similarly painted domed cover with strawberry finial, crossed swords mark in underglaze blue and impressed '3' to base, diameter across handles 14cm.
