A Tabriz carpet, Central Persia, early 20th century, the ink blue field with a shaped medallion, supported by birds, palmettes and urns, within a pictorial cartouche border, enclosing precious vases, deer, boteh and Arabic script, 345cm x 252cm (areas of extensive wear).
