Eton: Joseph Pote, 1749. 4to (240 x 178mm.) Engraved portrait frontispiece, imprimatur leaf, title in red and black, dedication in red, 12 engraved plates including 3 folding. (Browning throughout, some spotting.) 20th century half calf over marbled paper-covered boards (fading to spine, endpapers replaced). Provenance: H.T. Morley (bookplate to the first initial blank). - And a further four volumes (including James Hakewill's 'The History of Windsor, and its Neighbourhood', 1813, large 4to) (5).
