SAINT-SIMON, Louis de Rouvroy. Mémoires Completes et Authentiques du Duc de Saint-Simon. Paris: A. Sautelet, 1829-1830. 21 vols., first edition, 8vo (204 x 116mm.) (Moderate spotting, heavier to preliminaries, lacking portrait frontispiece.) Near contemporary brown diced calf, two red morocco lettering pieces to the spines (rubbing to all extremities). Provenance: Claude Delaval Cobham (bookplates to front pastedown). - And a further seven volumes of French literature (Molière's 'Oeuvres Completes… avec des notes de tous les commentateurs', 4 vols., 1854, 8vo, and Racine's 'Oeuvres Poétiques', 3 vols., 1854, 8vo) (28).
