SEXTUS EMPIRICUS. Sextou Empirikou ta Sozomean. Sexti Empirici Opera Quae Extant. Orléans: Peter and Jacob Chouet, 1621. Folio signed in 6s. (344 x 212mm.) Title with woodcut device, woodcut ornaments, in 2 parts, parallel texts in Latin and Greek, 3 indices. (Browning to margins, occasional soiling, minor marginal damp-staining, paper repair to front blank.) Contemporary vellum with yapp edges, later red morocco lettering piece to the spine (soiling to covers). Provenance: Codrington Parr (bookplate to the front pastedown); Bradford Library (stamp to the bookplate).
