Oxford: Thomas Baskett, 1749. Several engraved plates, with Apocrypha, NT with separate title dated 1749, and 'Book of Common Prayer' with title dated 1749. (Paper repair and large tear to first leaf of Genesis, A3, several plates laid-down or with paper repairs, browning, genealogical history to initial blank with some names cut out.) [Bound with:] 'A Brief Concordance or Table to the Bible of the Last Translation'. London: R. Ware, 1745. (Browning.) 8vo (243 x 182mm.) Late 19th century blind-stamped calf, g.e. (rubbing to all extremities, endpapers replaced). Provenance: Mrs. D. Thomson (gilt name to upper cover). - And a further five Bibles, one related work, and one volume (of 2) of an early 17th century translation of Pindar [circa 1624], 24mo) (8).
