TRAVEL. - Paul HENTZNER. Travels in England, During the Reign of Queen Elizabeth, translated by Horace, Late Earl of Orford. London: Edward Jeffery, 1797. First edition, 8vo (208 x 124mm.) 11 engraved plates, 6 tinted, including the frontispiece of Queen Elizabeth. (Spotting to the tinted plates and front and rear leaves, toning.) Near contemporary blue straight grain morocco, g.e. (rubbing, especially to spine). Provenance: Max Teichman Derville (bookplate to the front-free endpaper); Theodore H. Broadhead (armorial bookplate to the front pastedown). - And a further ten volumes relating to travel (J.P. Malcolm's 'Excursions in the Counties of Kent, Gloucester, Hereford, Monmouth, and Somerset, in the Years 1802, 1803, and 1805', 1814, 8vo) (11).
