In 2 parts, 2 additional calligraphic titles with engraved vignettes, 47 engraved views. (Browning, occasional spotting, lacking 3 plates.) Contemporary half calf over marbled paper-covered boards (upper cover detached). Provenance: Henry Straitfield (bookplate to front pastedown); Michael Pepper (gift inscribed to on the title-page). - And a further five related volumes (including Richard Verstegan's [Rowland] 'A Restitution of Decayed Intelligence in Antiquities', 1655, 8vo) (6).
