A late 19th century French ebonized and simulated walnut tableau comtoise wall clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, twice on the hour, the painted circular dial inscribed 'Casimir Payan Carcassone', the hinged and glazed front of shaped square outline enclosing a walnut surround with four ebonized panels with mother-of-pearl inlaid decoration, height 47cm, with pendulum and winding key.
