LOT 1125
A late 19th century French bronze and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped with Japy Frères maker's mark and 'HP a Co', the porcelain dial painted with iron red and black Arabic hour roundels on a blue chapter ring, reserved against a burgundy ground, all embellished in gilt foliate scrolls, the Gothic Revival style case with cast and pierced decoration, on scroll legs and integral breakfront stand, height 47cm, with pendulum and winding key.
