A pair of early 19th century flintlock pistols by E.C.W. Day, Derby, with brass turn-off barrels, barrel length 4cm, the frames engraved with foliate decoration, with folding triggers, sliding top-mounted safeties and finely chequered carved rounded grips with vacant silver diamond-shaped escutcheons (some damage and losses).
