A pair of Japanese inlaid lacquer oval panels, early 20th century, each black ground inlaid in bone with a flower-charged vase and basket and painted with blossoming prunus branches, within a red lacquer frame with continued blossoming prunus branch decoration, 71cm x 54cm (minor faults).
