A Japanese cloisonné circular plate by Ando, Meiji/Taisho period, the centre finely decorated with a polychrome roundel filled with a pair of confronting ho-o birds amidst scrolling tendrils, reserved against a robin's egg blue ground with darker blue stylized ruyi head border, mounted with a silver rim and footrim, wire inlaid maker's mark to base and stamped mark to footrim, diameter 24.5cm (hairlines).
